I love my pony!

First day in Nursery!

So I had my first little pang of oh my baby is growing up today. It was her first day in nursery (it was supposed to be last week but she was sick) and watching her through that little widow gave me a lttle bit of a sad/excited ping.

Isn't she such a big girl she growing up so fast!

She didn't cry at all I just walked in and sat her down, waved, blew a kiss and left and she looked at me a little funny and then just went on playing and never cried or made a peep once!

Adventures in Mommy land....

Steps to an Adventure...

Avonlee's working face.....

She loves to make this face when she is working hard or lifting something heavy.

This is the most recent task she's taken on, opening her snack bag...

M-I-N-N-I-E M-O-U-S-E

Avonlee loves her Minnie Ears, she'll bring them to me and lean over and pat her head for me to put them on and then she'll wear them all day. She also discovered that that car is wined up but can't quite figure out how it works so shejust wineds it up and giggles while it un-wineds.

(Isn't she getting sooo big!)

Yummy...

Avonlee has really been wanting to feed herself lately and she's getting really good at it too! Although she doesn't much like haveing the camera on her while she eats...lol

Dance baby dance!

I was doing an active baby video with the girls and this is what Avonolee did when the video said to dance.....so stinking cute!

Adventures in Family land...

We went to try a new ice cream place by us the other day and while being very colorful and a neat idea (fill up a cup with as much frozen yogurt and as many flavors and then add whatever toppings you want and then they charge you by the ounce) Only problem was that it was the frozen yogurt that we're all used to it was literally frozen-yogurt so it had that little bit of sour taste to it. Plus, you know, when you walk in to an ICE CREAM shop and they start talking about live cultures and healthy sugar you should turn right around and walk out, next time we sure will! I think that Avonlee's face summed it all up...

She REALLY liked it can you tell.....We of course were too dignified to make this face so we're glad she made it for us!

Freedom Isn't Free!

First of all I would just like to thank the men and women, doctors, nurses, cooks, animals, drivers, gun cleaners, chute packers, amo loaders, supply packers and all the other very brave and dedicated people who have kept us safe throughout all the years. We tip our hats to you a honor you this day and always.

With that said, let's paaarrrrTAY!!!!!!

My little big helper

So I needed to squeeze in a grocery trip between the time Charlie (the little girl I tend) left and Nate got home. I had about an hour, which seems like a lot, but by the time you load the baby in and out of the car twice and then into the shopping cart it's drastically shorter. Anyway we made it but I was still hurrying to get the groceries upstairs and start dinner. I took Avonlee out of the car and set her down and start loading up my arms with groceries. I look down and Avonlee has her little arm out waiting for me to load her up with groceries too. Luckily I had a bag that was really light so I put it on her little arm and just as quick as I did she stuck out the other for another one. I about cried at her sweet spirit of service. I didn't have anymore light bags so we headed to the house. But that wasn't enough for her and soon she was holding on to the bag that I was carrying helping me with my load when she could barely carry hers. She carried (and helped me) all the way to and up the stairs, with a big grin on her face, and into the house and even reminded me that I left the keys in the door. I was so struck by her sweet spirit and her willingness to help me carry my load when her's looked like it was more than she could carry to me. How grateful I am for the examples that our little ones, so fresh from Heaven, can teach us. I hope that I can follow her example and always reach out to help other even when I have a load of my own to carry and do it with a smile.

To DYE for

So I just dyed all my blacks well blacker, or I guess I could say I dyed all my used to be blacks back to black. It was a huge pain and the first round was a disater! My washer drained, even when I specifically told it not to, and I had to go out and buy more dye but I was watching the girls and I didn't have a car so I had to wait till the girls got picked up (5 hrs) and then load Avonlee in the stoller and trudge over to the store. She was such a trooper she was dripping wet when we got back and she just jumped out of the stroller and wanted to help with the laundry. But now my blacks are black...again... so I'm happy

So I have finally stared to use blogging as a verb...

And I'm really excited about it!

I also found this great new product on Etsy! This lady makes reusable snack bags that are cloth on the outside and oh so cute!
I can't wait to order some. Email me if you want the link and I'll find it again!
